Cozad Is Set To Host Nebraska State Fly-In & Air Show This Weekend
Getting a chance to take a flight and view a history lesson on flight will be the thousands that make their way to to the Nebraska State Fly-In and Air Show that will be held at the Cozad Municipal Airport this weekend on Friday, June 10th and Saturday, June 11th.
On Friday, there will be Tandem Skydiving from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Free Young Eagle Airplane rides for kids ages 7-17 from 3-7 p.m. The ‘Remembering Our Fallen’ Wall display will be shown from 4-8 p.m. Friday’s events will conclude with a Prime Rib Dinner and USO Style Show and Entertainment at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday at 9 a.m. is when the gates open to the public for the Nebraska State Aircraft Fly-In and live Air Show. It is free admission with free will donations being accepted. “I am excited to see the Rocky Mountain Renegades perform,” stated Mid-State Aviation’s Stacy Darling. The Renegades haven’t been to Nebraska before.
Also highlighted during the air show will be Harry Barr and his Strong Woman Act.
The ‘Remembering Our Fallen’ display will be available. There will be Static Military and Antique Aircract displays. There will be kids activities such as jump houses, rock climbing walls and hands-on activities for all ages.
