Memorial Established: Jeanette Leora Mach, age 77 (1934-2012)

Jeanette Leora Mach, 77, of Cozad, Nebraska, died Friday, September 14th, 2012, at Golden LivingCenter in Cozad, Nebraska.

She was born December 3rd, 1934, in Custer County, Nebraska, to Arthur and Berniece (Dixon) Brown.

Jeanette graduated from Broken Bow High School with the class of 1953. She was united in marriage to Frank Mach on January 22nd, 1955, at Sargent, Nebraska.
Nine children were born to this marriage.

The couple lived all of their married lives in Custer County and moved into Callaway in 1976. Jeanette was a stay at home mother and homemaker until going to work full-time in 1976 for Monroe Auto in Cozad. She worked 20 years at Monroe's until she retired. As her health began to deteriorate she moved to Golden LivingCenter in Cozad until her death.

Jeanette always had a huge garden and loved to read and crochet. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and always loved animals.

Survivors include three sons: Frank Mach, Jr. of Oconto, Nebraska, Bill Mach of Oconto, John Mach of Merna, Nebraska; three daughters: Fran Hagler of North Platte, Nebraska; Patti (Joe) Herndon of Gothenburg, Nebraska; Lucille (John) Kutnink of Cambridge, Nebraska; three sisters: Joy Brown of Cozad; Joyce Shafer of Alda, Nebraska: Mable Dobrovsky of Ord, Nebraska; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren with one on the way, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; and three daughters, Anna, Alberta and Debra.

The family has honored Jeanette's wishes that her body be cremated. There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 6th, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Cottonwood Cemetery at Burwell, Nebraska. The service will be conducted by the family.

Memorials are suggested to the Dawson County Alzheimer's Association or AseraCare Hospice.
