Eleanora (Nora) Marie Lederer, 93, of Cozad, Nebraska, died on Wednesday, June 13th, 2012, at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad.
Nora was born on March 14th, 1919, to Gottlob C. and Minnie C. (Zeeh) Lederer at the family farm, 8 miles northeast of Eustis, Nebraska, in Dawson County.
When she was a small child, she moved with her family to a farm a 1/2 mile east of Eustis. Following the death of her father in 1938, Nora and her family moved into Eustis.
She attended Eustis Public School, graduating with the class of 1937. Following graduation, she worked for several families in the Lexington area doing housework and caring for children. Nora returned to Eustis and was employed at the local cafe for the next 20 years. In 1961, she and her sister, Martha moved to Cozad, Nebraska, where she was employed at Boerkircher's Gamble's Store and Boerkircher's Furniture Store, retiring in 1982.
Nora enjoyed traveling and through the years she and her sister traveled to Europe and Hawaii several times as well as to every state in the United States and several Provinces in Canada. Her other hobbies included playing cards and having coffee with friends.
She was a lifetime member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Eustis.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Carl C. Lederer and her sister, Martha in October 2009.
She is survived by several cousins and many friends.

Services were held on Saturday, June 16th, 2012, at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Eustis with Pastor Megan Morrow officiating. Burial was in the East Cemetery at Eustis.
Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad was in charge of arrangments.
