Thomas Gentleman, age 73 of Cozad, formerly of Ogallala, died Tuesday, June 5th, 2012, at the Golden LivingCenter in Cozad.

Thomas was born on February 25, 1939, at Alliance, Nebraska, to Edward and Alice (Root) Gentleman.

He attended school at St. Patrick High School in North Platte, Nebraska.

Thomas lived in Ogallala and North Platte before moving to Cozad for a brief time. He spent most of his life hauling various products as an over the road truck driver. His greatest passion in life was taking care of his parents. His father, Edward rode in the truck with Thomas until the age of 90. He had a special love for cats; he even had two that rode with him on his various treks. 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his guardian and friend, Wes Martin of North Platte and many other friends.

A private family inurnment will be held at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraksa, at a later date.

Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad was in charge of arrangements.
