Jeffrey Lee Clark, 59, of Brady, Nebraska, died June 6th, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer at his home near Brady.

He was born June 15th, 1952, in Gothenburg, Nebraska, son of Dale and Betty Lou (Miller) Clark.

Jeff grew up in the Brady area and lived there all of his life. He graduated from Brady High School and Mid-Plains Community College. Jeff married Laurel J. Schulz on September 7th, 1974, at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg. To this union three daughters were born, Shannon, Sarah and Erin.

Jeff was the treasure of Banner Methodist Church for over 30 years. He was active with Gideon's International and the Pony Express Re-Ride. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, church and Bible study, along with farming and ranching.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lori Clark of Brady; three daughters: Shannon (Paul) Peterson, Sarah M. Baker, Erin (Jake) Fairley; six grandchildren: Savannah and Emma Peterson, Josie, Jordan, Hunter and Riley Baker and Baby Fairley; his father Dale (Ardith) Clark; a brother Rickie J. (Coleen) Clark; a sister Susan (Randy) Schroeder; four step-brothers: Michael (Heidi) Sheets, Chris (Sandra) Sheets, John (Jeannie) Sheets, Clint (Kristie) Sheets; two sisters: Patty (Ike) Miller, Joyce (Rick) Bulke; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Betty Lou Clark, grandparents James S. and Sara Clark and Herman and Freda Miller and father-in-law Milton Schulz.

Services were held at First United Methodist Church on Monday, June 11th, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ken Sawyer and Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Interment followed in the Peckham Cemetery near Gothenburg.
