William 'Bill' Lloyd, 74, a former Cozad area resident, died in Belton, Texas, on Sunday, June 3, 2012, following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Lexington, Nebraska, on February 15th, 1938, the son of Leslie Sr., and Blanche Lloyd.

Bill graduated from Cozad High School in 1957, then entered the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Lloyd of Belton, three sons, Gregory B. Lloyd of Kountze, Texas, Jerry L. Lloyd of Bryan, Texas and Brent L. Lloyd of Belton, brother Robert Lloyd of Franklin, Nebraska, and sister Betty Vogt of Gothenburg, Nebraska. Eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leslie Jr., Eugene, Jimmy and Raymond.

Services will be held in Belton, Texas, with military rites Thursday June 7th, 2012.
