Lloyd A. Hild, 93, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 17th, 2012, in Grand Island, Nebraska.

He was born August 30th, 1918, in Scotia, Nebraska, to Jacob Herman and Margaret Jane (Jones) Hild. Ret. U.S. Air Force Sr. Master Sergeant after 31 years of service. Served in WWII Iwo Jima, Korean Conflict and Vietnam Wars. Member of American Legion Post #3, V.F.W., D.A.V., Air Force Sergeants Association and Audubon Society.

Family members include his wife, Mary Hilda; sons, Lyle W. Hild, Grapevine, Texas, Glen J. and wife, Susan Hild, Charleston, Illinois; three grandchildren, Alex Lugo, Kersten and Marlene Hild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janis Hild; brothers, Robert and Jake.

Graveside Service were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 21st, 2012, in Fairview Cemetery, south of Cozad, Nebraska.
