Ruth Woehrle, 84, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Monday, May 7th, 2012, at the Lexington Regional Health Center in Lexington.

Ruth was born September 24th, 1927, at Bridgeport, Nebraska, to Alex Schneider and Amelia (Moore) Schneider.

Ruth attended school at Cozad, Nebraska. On November 22nd, 1943, she married Arnold Woehrle and to this union four children were born. Ruth was a homemaker and bookkeeper for the family trucking company, Woehrle Transfer, Inc. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Ruth enjoyed making quilts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Richard (JoAnn) Woehrle of Lexington; three daughters, Carolyn Parker of Gothenburg, Nebraska, Linda (Paul) Christensen of Broomfield, Colorado and Cindy (Mike) Hendricks of Lexington; sister, Esther Reinhardt of North Platte, Nebraska; three sisters-in-law, Freida Schneider of Cozad, June Woehrle of Lexington and Marie Woehrle of North Glenn, Colorado; 10 grandchildren: Kim (Tom) Dewey of Gothenburg, Tracy (Mark) Lichtenwalter of Cozad, Barbara Albertson of Gothenburg, Danielle (Judd) Dickman of Lexington, Chad (Karrie) Woehrle of Eustis, David (Jill) Christensen of Lochubie, Colorado, Angela (Dennis) Heim of Thornton, Colorado, Brian, Jennifer, Matthew Hendricks of Lexington; 10 great-grandchildren: Tyrell and Morgan Dewey, Alex Parker, Latasha, Ryan, Nathaniel Albertson, Camden and Jayden Dickman, Madison Woehrle and Adrianna Hendricks.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Arnold; parents, Alex and Amelia; seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services were Friday, May 11th, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington, with the Rev. Rob Kuefner officiating.

Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
