Raymond D. Fife, 77, of Cozad, Nebraska, died Saturday, March 31st, 2012, at his home in Cozad.
Raymond was born July 7th, 1934, at Omaha, Nebraska, to John and Viola (Mannwieler) Fife. He was a graduate of Omaha North High School. Raymond went on to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha in pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering. Raymond faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 until his honorably discharge in 1959.
On June 7th, 1957, Raymond married Marlene McBride at Papillion, Nebraska. The couple moved around throughout there married lives following Raymond's career as an Electrical Engineer.
Raymond was a passionate fisherman. He also thoroughly enjoyed time shared with his family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene of Cozad; children, Dale (Deb) Fife of Elkhart, Kansas, Maurine (Ted) Himes of Grand Junction, Colorado, Sue Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska, Brian (Kelly) Fife of Cozad; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside inurnment services with military honors are scheduled for Friday, April 6th, 2012, at 2:30 p.m., at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell. There will be no visitation.
