Lexington High Is Set To Host Doane Track Camp, June 2nd & 3rd
The Doane Track and Field team has been a force on the oval and in the field at NAIA competition for decades. They have been an annual favorite to win the highly touted GPAC Conference Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and on June 2nd and 3rd; area youth will have the chance to participate in the Doane College Track and Field Camp that will be held at Lexington High School.
It takes great athletes to win championships, but guidance from great coaches allows championships to be won numerous times. The Doane track and field coaches Fred Beile, Dave Dunnigan, Brad Jenny, Dave Ziola and head coach Ed Fye will be providing to area youth their championship winning expertise to interested track and field competitors and coaches at the Doane Track and Field Clinic.
The Doane coaches will enhance and improve the clinic participants performances in field events, sprint events and endurance runs. All aspects of track and field will be addressed.

Athletes wanting to attend the camp for just one event the cost is $100, for two or more events the cost is $125. All coaches are invited to attend free of charge.

--9 a.m.-12 p.m.: High Jump; Triple Jump; Shotput.
--1-4 p.m.: Long Jump; Pole Vault; Discus; Hurdles; Sprint acceleration and Starts.
