William Gengenbach, 52, of Brady, Nebraska, died Saturday, January 21st, 2012, in Grand Island, Nebraska.
He was born June 13th, 1959, in Gothenburg, Nebraska, son of Lloyd and Delores (Gamble) Gengenbach.
Bill graduated from Brady High School in 1977 and the University of Nebraska in 1983 with a BS in Mechanized Ag. He was a member of the American Society of Ag Engineers, Brady Volunteer Fire Department, Pioneer Livestock 4-H Club, Brady Rec Committee serving as coordinator of the Brady Boys Baseball teams and coach for 18 years. He served on the Village of Brady Town Board.
Surviving are mother, Delores Gengenbach of Brady; and a sister, Nyla Jean (Steve) Fenster of Lincoln, Nebraska; uncles Leonard (Marge) Gamble and Stanley Kemper; aunt, LaRue Roether; cousins, Marilyn (Jerry) Jackman, Rod (Connie) Kemper, Linda (Bill) Hinkle and Lana Morganflash.
William was preceded in death by father, Lloyd Gengenbach.
Register Book signing will be held on Thursday, January 26th, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska.
Services will be held at American Lutheran Church, January 27th, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Matthew Groenke, Lonna Grabenstein PMA officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, North Platte, Nebraska.
