Turner, Leising Win Top Honors At Eustis Fair & Corn Show Crashfest

In a double-points event of the CrashFest series, the Eustis Fair and Corn Show Demolition Derby held in Eustis on Saturday night was a smashing success despite a rain delay.

“The full-size car feature lasted 56 minutes and was jam-packed with heavy hits and crashing action,” expressed CrashFest promoter Matt Newcomb. “The level of competition was sky high with a great mix of drivers from all over the state to give the crowd an awesome show.”

In the welded cars division, Shad Turner of Geneva was the victor. Kurtis and Dawson Dittmer, both of Linn, Kansas were second and third overall. Parker Coffin of Shelby, Nebraska was fourth, just lasting longer than derby veteran and multi-time winner in Eustis, Mike Stalder of Beaver City.

In the pickup division, Arapahoe’s Frank Leising was the last man still running after defeating Dillon Noel, who finished in second place overall. Noe Alvarado of Kearney and Loomis hotshoe Brenden Kreutzer were third and fourth, respectively in the pickup division on Saturday evening.
