Renegade Harriers Return Veteran Stable Of Runners

Powered by the return of 10 harriers has the harriers and endurance contingency for the Eustis/Farnam-Medicine Valley excited for the upcoming distance running campaign.

“Last year was a season of new faces, this year there is a strong core of runners returning with a few new faces to add depth and competition for varsity spots,” stated Eustis/Farnam-Medicine Valley Head Coach Adam Hock. “The character of each and every team member will allow both the girls and boys teams to handle whatever the season brings.”

Senior Rodger Farr is the leading runner returning for the Renegades. Farr has qualified for the State Meet in Kearney multiple times and just this last season earned medalist honors with an eighth place finish. Farr knows what it takes to reach the promised land and will be a trailblazer for the Eustis/ Farnam-Medicine Valley harriers to reach the pinnacle as a team. Farr has increased his endurance and will be a front-runner in nearly every event the Renegades compete in this upcoming 2014 season.

Senior Andie Chapman is the leading returner for the Lady Renegades state qualifying team during the 2013 season. Chapman has been a mainstay on the varsity lineup throughout her career as a harrier. This season will be more of the same, as Chapman will step into an even bigger leadership role for the Eustis/Farnam-Medicine Valley runners to return to the postseason meet in Kearney.
Senior Kayla Wiles is a returning state qualifier along with Juniors Jade Earhart and Courtney Russell. The trio of runners will be instrumental to the success of the Renegades in the team races as they vie for very important finish positions at every meet during this 2014 season that includes a rugged schedule against bigger schools.

Seniors Pam Felix and Rachel Towne are seeking the chance to have a dream season of running, as they challenge for varsity roles along with providing ample leadership.

The freshmen trio of Kaitlynn Barrett, RaeAnn Heapy and Deelayna Stout will bring gumption to the lineup for the Renegades.

On the boys side, Senior Tate Hodson along with the dynamic duo of Juniors Matt Florom and Trey Willis will add quality depth to the lineup for the varsity spots for the Renegade boys. With the added year of experience and training, the trio of Hodson, Florom and Willis will take advantage of the opportunity to improve their times and consistency to push the Eustis/Farnam-Medicine Valley boys squad to new heights.

Junior Tristan Westphal is a new addition that will add a veteran competitive nature along with being an upperclassman that knows what it takes to compete in varsity events.

The Freshmen trio of Johnathon Hazen, Delane Hugunin and Nathan Nicklas will add great depth to the Renegade boys lineup.
