Former Gothenburg Resident: Patrick Aden (1971-2016)
Patrick J. Aden, 45, of Lincoln, passed away, Monday, November 28th, 2016. He was born on March 28th, 1971 in North Platte, Nebraska to Ronald & Sharon (Stull) Aden. He attended North Platte High School and graduated in 1989. On September 21st, 1996 he married his soul mate Pamela (Keiser) in Gothenburg, Nebraska. He earned an Associate Degree in Human Services in 2014 from SCC. He was currently attending Nebraska Wesleyan pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Patrick worked in the community as an Intensive Community Services worker for Houses of Hope’s TASC Program.
Patrick was an amazing man. He is described by his friends and family as infinitely caring, compassionate, vibrant, soulful, passionate, loving, competitive, and opinionated. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was always involved in his daughters’ activities whether it was academic, artistic, or athletic. He was a lover of music, art, people, baseball/softball, anything Husker and deep discussions about life and politics. Everything he gave here on earth will continue to grow in boundless ways in the years to come.
He is survived by his wife Pamela and daughters Rhiannon & Neriah Aden of Lincoln; Parents Ron & Pauline Aden of North Platte, Nebraska; Brother Todd (Kim) Aden of North Platte, Nebraska; Sister Renea (Tim) Rush of Grand Island, Nebraska; Brother-in-law Brendan Gallagher of South Dakota; Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, & Uncles; Father-in-law & mother-in-law Willard & Laura Keiser of Gothenburg, Nebraska; Brother-in-law Jim Keiser of Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Aden & sister Tracey Gallagher, grandparents Orville & Nita Stull, Emil & Judith (Bratten) Aden.

Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at the American Lutheran Church, 4200 Vine St. in Lincoln.
