Jerri Eilert, 69, of Sterling, Colorado, died on February 15th, 2013, in Greeley, Colorado.
Jerri was born February 9th, 1944, in Torrington, Wyoming, to Loyal Jared and Dorothea Elizabeth (Glanz) Ford. She graduated from high school. She moved to Sterling 36 years ago.
On May 19th, 1960, she married Crespin Martinez. He passed away. She later married Norbert Eilert on October 15th, 2005.
Jerri was a member of New Beginnings Outreach and Emmanuel Baptist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. The joys of her life were her family.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Martinez of Sterling, Jeff Martinez and Erin of Wyoming; daughters, Janae Gertner and husband Larry of Sterling, Tamra Futch and husband John of Sterling, Michelle Sanchez of Sterling and Adina Howard and husband Phil of Sterling; sisters, Patricia Marreel of Sterling, Ann Seaman of Florida, Gewn Ford of California; brother, Skeeter Ford of Florida; sister-in-law, Kay Ford of Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Joe and Velma Cabrera.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Crespin Martinez and Norbert Eilert; brother, Jan Ford; sons-in-law, Cruz Avalos and Eleazor Canas.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 21st, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Pastor David L. Baines officiating.
Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.
