Hunter Education Course Offered

A firearm hunter education course will be offered by Nebraska Game and Parks Commission volunterr instructors in Cozad on September 26, 27 and 28 along with October 3&$th. The sessions will take place at 7 p.m. and end by 9 p.m. 
The free course will be held at the Paulsen offices on east highway 30. The course will provide instruction in the areas of safe firearms use, shooting and sighting techniques, hunter ethics, game identification and conservation management. Students must attend all of the sessions to complete the course
In Nebraska, hunters ages 12-29 must have on their person proof of successful completion of fireman hunter education while hunting with a firearm or crossbow.
