Daffer-Seaman wed

     Lisa Marie Daffer formerly of Danbury, Nebraska, and Ryan Weslie Seaman formerly of Indianola, Nebraska, were united in marriage September 5th, 2009, at the McCook Christian Church with Pastor Clark Bates officiating.
     Parents of the couple are Mike and Sally Daffer of Danbury, Pam Lahr of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Mike Seaman of Indianola.
     Grandparents of the bride are Harlow and Sandra Daffer of Danbury and the late Paul and Esther Meader of Wilsonville, Nebraska. Grandparents of the groom are Virginia Parrish of Cozad, Nebraska and the late Larry Seaman, Weslie and Betty Shoop, and Lila Stapp, all of Cozad.
     The matron of honor was Jennifer Daffer of Danbury, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Lindsey Esch of Indianola, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Abigail Nelsen of Cozad, niece of the groom. The flower girl was Alexa Nelsen of Cozad, niece of the groom. Personal attendant was Mandy Nelsen of Cozad, sister of the groom.
     The best man was Chad Stewart of Indianola, friend of the groom. Groomsman was Jared Brooks of Levant, Kansas, friend of the groom. Junior groomsman was John Ford of Cairo, Nebraska, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Reece Bittner of Omaha, Nebraska, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Justin Daffer of Danbury, brother of the bride, Shawn Daffer of Danbury, cousin of the bride and Matt Smith of Cozad, cousin on the groom.
The candle lighters were Justin Daffer, brother of the bride and Abby Daffer, cousin of the bride, both of Danbury.
     Organist/Pianist was Cheryl Sayer of Cambridge, Nebraska, aunt of the bride. Soloist was Layne McConville of Indianola, friend of the couple.
     Guest book attendant was Savannah Noyes of Lawrence, Kansas, friend of the bride and programs were handed out by Cora-Leigh Seaman of Cozad, cousin of the groom. Kate Schluntz of Republican City, Nebraska and Amber Daffer of Danbury, both cousins of the bride were gift takers.
     The reception was immediately following the ceremony at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds. Reception servers were Steve and Shelly Daffer, aunt and uncle of the bride, Jay and Mary Schluntz, aunt and uncle of the bride, Bernard Walz, uncle of the bride, Bill and Stephanie Haag, friends of the couple, and Roger Buschkoetter, friend of the couple. Cake servers were Carylon Potter, Luella Trumble, Cheryl Sayer, and Angie Sughroue, all aunts of the bride and Liz Seaman, Anne Seaman, Cindy Austin and Terry Shoop, all aunts of the groom.
Host couples were Rick and Crinda McConville and Rod and Brenda Sheets, of Indianola, all friends of the couple.
     The bride is a 2005 graduate of Southwest High School, 2007 graduate of McCook Community College and a 2009 graduate of Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska. She is employed at Gentle Dental Care in Grand Island, Nebraska, as a Dental Hygienist.
     The groom is a 2003 graduate of Republican Valley High School, 2005 graduate of Southeast Community College in Lincoln and a 2008 graduate of Creighton University. He is employed at Grand Island Fire Department as a Firemedic.
     Immediately following the wedding the couple honeymooned on a cruise in the Western Caribbean.
     The couple is currently making their home in Hastings.
