McCourt-Moler

     Sharon Leann McCourt and Benjamin James Moler would like to announce their engagement and upcoming, June 7, 2008, wedding. They will be wed at Grace Lutheran Church,  in Lexington, with Pastor Megan Morrow officiating, followed by a honeymoon in Jamaica.

     Parents of the couple are Shawn and Jerry Riley, Ronald and Cindi McCourt, and Deb and Jerry Moler.

     Sharon is a 2000 graduate from Lexington High School and is currently the activities director at Plum Creek Care Center, a medication aide, and a certified nurses aide.

     Ben is a 1994 graduate from Lexington High School and is currently employed at BD in Holdrege where he has worked for 14 years. He loves playing the guitar and making music.

50th anniversary

     Art and Marilynn Sheldon of Lexington, Nebraska, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 18, 2008.

     An open house will be held at the Lexington Grand Generation Center, located at 407 East 6th Street, from 1-3 p.m.

     No gifts are requested.

     The couple was married on May 28, 1958.
