'Spring Clean-up' planned for citizens in Cozad area
Permits are required

Cozad's street department crew members aren't expected to have much time to relax this month. They will be in demand because the annual citywide clean-up campaign is scheduled, March 22nd-26th.
Pick-up stickers must be obtained at the city office.
Residents are reminded that discarded items must be placed in alleys or on curblines.
Citizens have also been reminded that recycling dumpsters are located on property just east of the former Paulsen, Inc., offices on east Highway 30.
Paint products may be placed in a blue dumpster, newspapers in a large brown dumpster, cardboard in a brown dumpster and aluminum in a silver dumpster. Plastic bags may also be deposited in a yellow dumpster. Recycling proceeds are earmarked for Cozad tree and youth programs.
Junk or abandoned vehicles will also be removed. Those who respond will be required to submit vehicle titles. Unlicensed or inoperable vehicles are not permitted within the city limits for a period longer than 10 days. Violators of the code are subject to misdemeanor charges.
